DESCRIPTION
The Mini Responder First Aid Course is an introductory class designed around the idea of being first aid concepts to children ages 7 and up.
We want to bring the entire family into training up amazing kiddos ready to help inside of an injury.
In this course you can expect the following:
-Introduction to First Aid Anatomy. Understanding how the body works to keep us working, and what we can do if someone has an issue.
-Stopping a massive bleed in a youth and adult setting. We as a team will be going over what tourniquets are, and how they work. We will also do an introduction to wound packing.
-How and when to call 911 properly to ensure expedient response from professional rescuers.
-Everyday First Aid Basics. What can we all do to help!
In this class we will take a practical approach to helping train up the littles as to allow for a better team response inside the family. While we hope that our kiddos never have to use some of these skills, starting to build them now will ensure a more capable teenager and adult moving forward!
-Class will run for approximately 4 hours.
-Close toed shoes and clothes you can move in are required.
-Training materials will be provided to you at class.
-Each student will receive a First Aid Responder Certificate upon completion.
