The SWAT-Tourniquet is a unique and multipurpose dressing. Its name provides a description for usage Stretch, Wrap, and Tuck, but also the communities for whom it was developed - military and civilian Special Weapons and Tactics teams. These teams operate in an environment that has a high incidence of penetrating trauma, and most (two-thirds) of preventable deaths in the operational environment are from extremity bleeding. The SWAT-Tourniquet allows a more rapid means to control extremity bleeding and allows application higher into the groin and axilla than other tourniquets. Its ease of application is one of its greatest benefits; individuals can effectively apply it in seconds with little to no prior training. At a third of the cost and weight of other combat used tourniquets, this tourniquet should find its way forward with every tactical operator. The SWAT-T was developed by a former Operator/Medic with 14 years experience in Operational Medicine -former USAF Pararescue Journeyman (Para-Jumper or PJ)), Contractor DoJ/FBI SWAT Operations, National Registry Paramedic, and Emergency Medicine Physician. Minimum recommended operating temp. -65 Degree F (-53 Degree C) Maximum recommended operating temp. 180 Degree F (82 Degree C) Preferred long-term storage conditions cool and dry environment.

First of all, Refuge Medical is the GOAT. Secondly, that extends to the gear they make. The BearFAK 3.0 is, by FAR, the most intuitive IFAK I've ever laid hands on. It's just slightly bigger than the military issued standard IFAK, but it fits the components better, leaving more space for extra necessities. I've thrown in a few extra CELOX gauze packs for good measure. Thank you, Refuge Medical, for another outstanding product!

My favorite IFAK design. This is the 2nd SOB I have gotten. First was in multicam during my time in the 82nd Airborne. I chose it for compact design and all around quality. I still keep I on my chest rig for ranges. This 2nd SOB in green for my new life as a college student. It lives on my armor upgraded backpack.

I'm a surgical Technician of 30 years and this is one of the best put together, and most extensive first aid bag you could purchase. I have acquired all but 2 out of approximately 20 of my kits from Refuge, and even those pale in comparison. The staff, customer service, and mission of Refuge Medical is beyond compare. I purchased just pouch almost a yr ago and have worn it everyday. It has held up from work, ridding horses, to everyday life. I have been lucky that I have not had to use any items from kit. I carry a lot of items in my pockets so this is nice to be able to carry medical supplies. I have recommended it to people and would to anyone.

I never thought I would need it till I did. Now I want them at an easier access so I ordered more. These are great for people with young children, they have many uses, from compression bandages to an actual tourniquet can be cut down to make smaller ones for smaller individuals.

Very fast shipping and the product is exactly as described. To give you an idea, I ordered several items from another company. The items were freeze dried items that were noted as in stock on the website. 2 weeks later no packages received and I made a call to that company. They had no idea and they had to track what was going on. Turns out the items were not in stock and I am stuck waiting till they come in. This is not the case with Medical Refuge. Great addition to any load out. We've deployed them as a primary for peds and K-9s. I love the fact that it took a PJ to find an alternate use for a similar tool used to prolong anesthesia and reduce bleeding during surgical procedures. As a former IDMT, I love all of my Js out there. Great product brought to the forefront by a great servant, great provider and great warrior. Thank you.
