First of all, Refuge Medical is the GOAT. Secondly, that extends to the gear they make. The BearFAK 3.0 is, by FAR, the most intuitive IFAK I've ever laid hands on. It's just slightly bigger than the military issued standard IFAK, but it fits the components better, leaving more space for extra necessities. I've thrown in a few extra CELOX gauze packs for good measure. Thank you, Refuge Medical, for another outstanding product!

Picked up another BearFAK in M81 Woodland (aka God's Plaid). Best kits on the planet for being prepared for any trauma incident. And as always, best customer service anywhere!

Just received my MAG bag. It is going to be perfect for what I wanted it for. Carry a silk kit and a backup tourniquet, backup edc and extra mag. As with everything from Refuge top quality.

My favorite IFAK design. This is the 2nd SOB I have gotten. First was in multicam during my time in the 82nd Airborne. I chose it for compact design and all around quality. I still keep I on my chest rig for ranges. This 2nd SOB in green for my new life as a college student. It lives on my armor upgraded backpack.

I'm a surgical Technician of 30 years and this is one of the best put together, and most extensive first aid bag you could purchase. I have acquired all but 2 out of approximately 20 of my kits from Refuge, and even those pale in comparison. The staff, customer service, and mission of Refuge Medical is beyond compare. If it's not completely obvious I love these people and the gear they supply, and I can't praise them enough. Thank you Refuge for all you do.

Just received my sob. It's awesome and I'm glad to have it. I decided to put it on my dogs vest as he's usually the only one with me on hunting trips. Definitely going to purchase a more kits in the near future

I purchased just pouch almost a yr ago and have worn it everyday. It has held up from work, ridding horses, to everyday life. I have been lucky that I have not had to use any items from kit. I carry a lot of items in my pockets so this is nice to be able to carry medical supplies. I have recommended it to people and would to anyone.

This 'Slishman Pressure Wrap' is a brilliant and SIMPLE innovation for control of a serious bleed from extremity injury. It is so much more intuitive to use than most other options like the CAT or SOFT-T tourniquets. It's so simple even a child can be instructed in its use in a minute. It achieves that rare high benchmark of being nearly 'soldier-proof' (which is a lofty engineering feat as soldiers, well.. we have do have a capacity for chaos). Pros: stone-simple to use. VERY small and carry-friendly as it has no hard edges (no windlass or clips, and is more compressible/compact than nearly every other tourniquet; half the size of a CAT Gen 7). So small AND LIGHT it can be carried even in dinky t-shirt pocket. It's about 1/3rd the cost of a genuine CAT Gen 7. It can work on patients whose extremities are too small for a CAT or SOFT-T, (like a toddler or a pet). CONS: It is a relatively new item. I have been using it in limited scenario training and it is holding up so far. That said, I haven't used it in all weathers or for years or on a real patient yet. Unlike the CAT, with many years of familiarity/respect, and which I've used in patient care, eg control of major hemorrhage in horrendous lower leg arterial destruction (Iraq). I'm sure the DoD is testing the Slishman, but the CAT and SOFT-T have been proven/approved as a primary tourniquets by the DoD for years.(TCCC-approved). Speed of use: for a troop that has been highly trained/true proficiency on the CAT, they will likely be able to stop a major arterial flow several seconds faster with the CAT/SOFT-T than with the Slishman. (To control a high-pressure bleed the Slishman will require several wraps around the extremity, adding a few extra seconds. In person of novice-level training, the Slishman will probably prevail. OVERALL rating: 9/10. Final yap: I'm very impressed with the Slishman so far. I will continue to carry my CAT as my primary tourniquet, but also carry the Slishman with it as capable backup and option for smaller patients. I will be ordering more soon from Refuge. Amazing staff, ridiculously fast delivery time (as in somehow bending the time/space continuum), and very competitive prices. A rightly blessed organization.

Lucky I haven't had to use it, but this is a quality product. It's use is pretty intuitive. Fills a nice gap before a tourniquet. It'll fit a head or an arm without adjustment. In short it's a worthwhile addition to your Bearfak or aid bag.

There are no words to express the level of service I received from Refuge Medical. They do everything they say they’re going to do, and they do it well. I will never buy any medical equipment or med kits from any other company as long as Refuge is an option. Top notch ! You other guys should take notes !! Thank you Refuge team.
