First of all, Refuge Medical is the GOAT. Secondly, that extends to the gear they make. The BearFAK 3.0 is, by FAR, the most intuitive IFAK I've ever laid hands on. It's just slightly bigger than the military issued standard IFAK, but it fits the components better, leaving more space for extra necessities. I've thrown in a few extra CELOX gauze packs for good measure. Thank you, Refuge Medical, for another outstanding product!

My favorite IFAK design. This is the 2nd SOB I have gotten. First was in multicam during my time in the 82nd Airborne. I chose it for compact design and all around quality. Love this ankle kit. Its either in my EDC bag on my person during normal daily life or around my ankle at the range and while flying helicopters. I prefer to wear it outside of my pants and above my boots for quick and easy access, but it's also comfortable underneath the pants. I wore it during Night Responder outside of my boots and it didn't budge for over 12 hours.

I've had a bad experience with a different brand of ankle kit in the past which made me think that ankle kits were dumb. However, a few years later after bumping into Refuge Medical I ordered this ankle kit and it is amazing! Comfort 10/10 Included supplies 10/10 Concealment 10/10 Customizability 10/10 Build quality 10/10 Refuge Medical Expertise 10/10 The supplies are perfect and I have learned more by just reviewing the contents of this kit. It packs a punch with no frills. The SOF T makes conceal carrying a tourniquet easy and comfortable. Even if you wanted to change the supplies in the kit, which I don't know why you would, the velcro straps and elasticity of the body make customizing this kit a breeze while maintaining comfort because of the inner layer. Shout out to the sow shop team for the amazing quality! I love this company because they don't sell junk and they are real experts with no gimmicks. I have never had more pleasure ordering products with a company before than Refuge. As a side note the entire ordering process with these guys is the best I have ever experienced. The personableness of this company is the best and they genuinely love their customers. These guys and gals are the best! I wear this kit daily since I received it months ago. I work in homebuilding. Dusty, wet, hot, up and down ladders, in the mud, etc.... But the kit looks band new (after knocking the dust off) and the actual material of the ankle rig has not lost any, not zero, of it's structure or stretch. All the gear is still held just as tight as it was when I received it band new. It fits easily over my work boot as well. It has never came off, nor is it held so tight to cause discomfort. It's like it's not even there. I'm simply amazed at the quailty of this rig. I have tried to wear pistol ankle holster in the past. Those are always too small and move around a lot. Even the ones with the wool on the back. I was concerned this rig would do the same. It DOES NOT. It is well worth the money and you will be able to carry all your important life saving gear out of the way and always have it when you need it. Highly recommended!!

I wanted to do a review to say how awesome the quality is. I knew refuge medical makes their stuff with top quality but this ankle kit compared to my galco ankle glove, makes the galco feel like a condor product. This ankle kit is just amazing and feels bullet proof .

I was skeptical of ankle carry at first but needed a deep option of carrying a med kit, and I turned to the refuge medical ankle kit. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. So far so good. Day one review will most likely update later. Looked a little bulky at first, and I suppose compared to other ankle kits, it is. However, the capability of this one blows its competition out of the water. Doesn't stand out that much. Hardly even noticed it so far even though I've been working all day. Convenient and good for plugging leaks. Good job guys!

I’ve been wearing the ankle kit for 3 months now and I’m overall satisfied. It takes a little time to find the right tension so it’s not too loose and not too tight. I like that it gives me the option of carrying more than a tourniquet without switching to cargo pants. I can’t give the kit 5 stars because the openings in the bottom of the pouch have allowed components to get damaged. Specifically, the chest seals are rubbing against my boot causing the concern. I hope the next revision will completely enclose the bottom of the pouch or somehow better protect components.

Absolutely fantastic IFAK. Current line flight medic. Has everything you need, nothing you don't. But the biggest part is comfort. Hardly noticed it was there for both days (I've had it for three) I wore it. Coaching HS wrestling tournament I was up, down, and on the move both of those days and it was incredibly comfortable, without moving or coming out of place. I'd highly recommend this kit to anyone.

Back story. I am current member of the Army, I have 24 years and counting of experience. This is by far one of the highest grade kits in terms of quality. It also works well attached to the butt of an M4. The elastic tension and Velcro make it easy to adjusted to different sizes. I recommend this produce.

Excellent every-day-carry to handle immediate life threatening injuries. The kit is super comfortable, I forget I have it on most of the time. I have had it out on 2 rucks since Christmas and have not noticed it was there. Dissappears nicely in straight leg jeans and Carrharts.
